Can I get a job in law enforcement if i commited a 3rd degree felony when i was 16? It has been sealed?

When i was 16 I was charged with GTA, I was considered the accomplice. I didn't actually steal it. The record is sealed and from what my lawyer told me it will be expunged when I am 24. Could this stop me from getting a job in law enforcement? This whole ordeal I went through is what made me want to become a police officer. I feel like I this is what I really should do. Every other record I have is immaculate, could this help me? Thanks for the help
