I want to join the Military?

Im 23 yrs old and was charged in October. If you were convicted of aggravated assault felony which will be expunged can u still get into the Marines or the Army. Keep in mind I did some college, played college football and would go front lines if I had too. As to the charge which I should be innocent and honestly didn't fight I was at the wrong place wrong time. I would also take a lie detector test to prove to the commander, but I do anything to join. Please help with real answers or help.�
