If a criminal history(record) is expunged can someone still become a probation officer?

This will depend of the severity of the initial crime. If we are talking about say a shoplifting charge and enough time has past with no other instances, it will not be a disqualifying factor. In some cases if more than 7 years has passed on a small amount of marijuana charge you may be okay. Any other type of drug, major assault, domestic violence, or felonies are dis-qualifiers. Always be honest, dishonestly will sink you for sure.
