A very tall 15 month old toddler?

My daughter is currently in the 98th percentile for heigh and 82nd percentile for weight for her age. She's 15 months old and darn near the size of the 3 year old. She wears size 2t-3t clothes and is already in a size 8 shoe!!!!!!! Our pediatrician is convinced she'll be well over 6 feet tall (I'm 5'11 and my fiancee is 6'5) Has anybody else had a really tall toddler that slowed down? I hated growing up being much taller than everybody else, not to mention it makes buying clothes a pain in the butt.
