Will a p.c. 422 misdemeanor charge prevent me from becoming a correction or police officer? ?

I graduated out of the police academy 2 years ago, in between that time, I was accused of a criminal threat, due to fear of having a felony, I pleaded out to misdemeanor. I just recently had this charge expunged.Is there any hope still?
