I want to become a pediatrician but im not sure of the steps?

im going into my junior year and will need to start applying for colleges by the end of it. what are some good colleges for aspiring pediatricians? what are good majors to be in in college? do you go to a college for nursing and then take steps up to a pediatrician or do you go right into pediatrics? anything and everything about this subject will be useful to me thank you!
